3L Handheld Drip Torch

When the wind picks up, your ignition tool is the first thing that has to hold up.

This is our 3 L handheld drip torch — built for prescribed burning, forestry crews and emergency response teams.

It runs on 0# diesel. Deliberately not gasoline. That single choice is why it is far safer in the field: diesel's high flash point means a spill will not flash into vapour, and the built-in anti-flashback check valve blocks flame from travelling back up the oil pipe. Tip the body upright and the fuel shuts off on its own.

What it gives you on the fire line:

• No electronics, nothing to fail. It performs in high wind, low temperature and rough terrain — exactly where battery-powered gear quits.
• You set the fire line. Fuel flows only when tilted. The mechanical flow regulator lets the operator adjust drip rate and flame size, so most crew members are productive after a short training session.
• Built to carry in. Integrated hand-held body. 0.7 kg empty. The ignition head reverses into the barrel and the oil pipe folds in upside down for easier transport on the hike in.
• Built to keep working. Disassembles and cleans easily, low failure rate, long service life.
