Outer Shell: Aramid vs. Nomex

The outer shell must resist flame, radiant heat, and mechanical abrasion. Nomex IIIA offers an excellent balance of thermal protection and durability. Our ZFMH-AB-ABC series uses 100% aramid and Nomex fabrics for reliable protection without excessive weight.

The Three-Layer System

A proper firefighter suit includes: outer shell (flame resistance), moisture barrier (blocks water and chemicals while releasing vapor), and thermal liner (insulates against heat). The moisture barrier is critical — trapped sweat causes steam burns. ANBEN uses breathable PTFE-based barriers to maintain high Total Heat Loss (THL) ratings.

Comfort and Visibility

Our suits feature articulated knees, adjustable suspenders, and ergonomic sleeves. The khaki series offers a detachable Nomex IIIA liner for climate flexibility. All suits include 3M Scotchlite reflective tape triple-stitched on torso, arms, and legs per EN 469 requirements.
